Thoughts on Cooking & Entertaining...
"I believe entertaining should be fun and certainly stress-free.  The most important secret weapon for successfully hosting a fete is to bring creativity to your home, table and cooking. This puts your guests at ease no matter how formal the event, and makes for a festive time for all! "
-Tamara Stephenson

Let Me Show You How
To Enjoy the Experience of Hosting
For more than a decade my friends have referred to me as the Tabletop Queen because I have honed my skills as a host and cook. I entertain frequently for my friends and family, brands, non-profit organizations and companies.
Here on the blog we share unique and creative tips and ideas while demonstrating table decorating, sources, menus, recipes and venues.  I hope to inspire you to enjoy the process, keep it elegant, yet comfortable and, at times, wildly creative in order to create a warm, convivial environment while putting guests at ease.  Additionally, in 2015 I launched a new home fabric collection with long-time friend designer Susan Young.  We create beautiful and quality fabrics to bring to your home and table for everyday and special occasions. We are often invited to speak at events to offer tips and advice.  In the Summer months, we write the Under The Pergola column to share recipes and entertaining tips gleaned from the events we host in our beach cottage.
